Invisalign Gold Coast

Let us help you get the smile you deserve without the use of braces. Be Dental provides Invisalign treatment Gold Coast residents trust. Using digital scans, we’ll create Invisalign aligners for your treatment, and explain each step so you understand the process before you start. We’re a bronze-tier Invisalign specialist, and our experienced dental team is proud to offer this service to our Gold Coast patients.

How does Invisalign work?

Invisalign works to straighten your teeth using clear, removable retainers. Every one to two weeks, the Invisalign aligners are changed for new trays that shift the teeth closer towards their desired position. During treatment, Invisalign aligners must be worn for 20-22 hours per day, and only removed for eating and cleaning. These aligners are custom-made and issued in sets, so you won’t need to visit the dentist every week! Instead, you’ll likely have check-ups every 6-8 weeks.

Before beginning your Invisalign treatment, we’ll book you in for a 30-minute initial consultation, during which we’ll complete a smile assessment to determine whether you’re a suitable candidate for Invisalign. If so, you can begin your Invisalign treatment, with your first set of aligners typically arriving two weeks after the deposit is received.

What happens during an initial Invisalign consultation?

You’ll need to book an initial consultation before starting your Invisalign treatment. At this 30-minute appointment, our Gold Coast dental team will assess whether Invisalign is a suitable treatment option for you. During this consultation, we’ll provide an in-depth explanation of the length, costs, and expectations regarding the Invisalign treatment process. We’ll also take photos, scans, and radiographs to assist in your assessment. We encourage our patients to ask any questions they may have about Invisalign during this consultation.

Why choose Invisalign over braces?

The Invisalign vs braces debate has been ongoing for many years. There are a few reasons why someone may choose Invisalign treatment over conventional braces. Benefits of Invisalign include:

Removability

Invisalign aligners are removable and should be taken out when you eat, brush, and floss. This means you don’t have to give up certain foods in the same way you may have to with conventional braces.

Easier brushing & flossing

As the Invisalign aligners can be removed for brushing and flossing, it means you can clean your teeth as usual. Brushing and flossing is easy as there’s no worrying about archwires and brackets getting in the way.

Fewer consultations

Invisalign requires fewer consultations than conventional braces, so that means fewer visits to the dentist. This is great news for anyone with a busy schedule. Simply follow your dentist’s instructions and change your Invisalign aligners as needed.

More inconspicuous

The Invisalign retainers are clear and virtually invisible when worn. This makes Invisalign a great choice for those that don’t wish to be seen as obviously undergoing teeth-straightening treatment.

How long does Invisalign take?

Typically, Invisalign treatment takes between 6 and 24 months. The exact amount of time needed will depend on factors such as the amount of crowding a patient is experiencing, if significant bite issues are present, and how strictly the treatment is adhered to. When you have your initial Invisalign teeth consultation with Be Dental, we’ll assess your situation and give you an estimate for the timeframe needed for your desired results.

How much does Invisalign cost?

At Be Dental, we’re upfront about our Invisalign price. The cost for a full Invisalign treatment typically falls between $7,000 and $8,900. This cost includes the refinement aligners and Invisalign retainers. The discrepancy in pricing depends on the complexity of treatment needed and the length of time required for treatment. To begin your Invisalign teeth alignment process, simply come in for the initial consultation, pay the $3,000 deposit, and two weeks later your first set of aligners will be ready.

Be Dental is a dentist with payment plans, allowing eligible patients to pay for their Invisalign treatment with Zip Pay or AfterPay Plus. This lets you pay for your Invisalign treatment in interest-free repayments, staggered across a number of weeks. Get in touch with us to chat about dental payment plans, or book your Invisalign consultation and we can make an assessment on your Invisalign pricing. Once the initial cost has been determined, there will be no extra surprises for your Invisalign treatment.

Am I suitable for Invisalign treatment?

Unfortunately, not everyone is suitable for Invisalign treatment. Patients that require oral surgery or those who have impacted teeth with additional problems may not be eligible. Be Dental works closely with local orthodontists, and we can refer patients where needed. Once your additional dental needs are addressed, you may then be able to undergo Invisalign treatment.
